in those 8 years Clemson has trended upward and is now a legit Top 2 or 3 ball club. NU has not improved in fact the Huskers have digressed. My oh my does Mike Riley and Co. have their work cut out for them in order to get to the same level as Clemson and Alabama. Reality can be harsh.

So does the rest of the country. CFB goes in cycles. Miami owned the 80's, NU and FSU owned the 90's. USC had their run, Bama is top dawg right now. Nothing lasts forever. Keep recruiting and keep fighting. GBR!!
