I made a similar thread last year and the responses were pretty solid, so I figured I would post again this year. Given the length of the long offseason, I have always found that many things happen between the end of one season and the start of the next.
As a result, I have always felt that the dogs days of August, as another season is upon us, is a great time to reflect on all that has happened in my life during the past 8 months. It always amazes me to realize how much has changed since the Huskers last took the field.
At any rate, feel free to join in.
Since last season:
1) I welcomed my first child (daughter) into the world;
2) got engaged (yes, we went out of order);
3) watched my brother get married; and
4) lost our family dog of ten years (last week).
