Don't ya know, Nebraska kids can't play football, walk ons can't play football, etc etc yadda yadda.
Stunning how many Nebraska kids we have on our roster right now getting legit playing time. They weren't good enough last year and were the excuse, now they are just fine.
Love the home state representation.

It's all about the coaching... always has been.

Made a good play. Stoltenberg gave up on a play a little early when he thought a tackle was made and that RB took it to the house for their last TD

Multiple guys, including Reimers, made big plays at one point or another and we needed every one of them. Real team effort got it done!

So you are saying last year's record was about coaching? C'mon Red, you blamed everything but the coaches for last season's debacle. Whatever, that's over now, good feelings after this game. Just glad the kids from Nebraska are having success. Good football in this state I don't care what anybody says.

It's not that they can't play... They just can't be most of the top 22. Walk ons have always contributed at key moments

Mick was just trying to keep his feet under him and not roll up on anybody on the ground. The back was gone in a flash so I wouldn't call that giving up on a play.

Your argument is old and worn out. Nebraska kid's have always been gamers.

Talking to you is honestly like talking to a wall. The "its all about coaching' was absolutely not your stance last year and everybody knows it. Now it is your stance when it is convenient.
You are an idiot. Goodbye.

I'm here in full support of our Nebraska kid's. And a Lincoln kid to boot just down the street from my old school.

That was a helluva catch. Surprised to even see him in the game, but he definitely deserved to be there!

The Reimers kid looks very big in that photo. Not just tall (which he is), but big!

Why are you still sitting around whining about last year? Our program is showing signs of life for the first time in years and you are making up crap to bitch about? Really?

Big target for this year and the next two.
I wonder if there will be any thought about moving him to tight end? He might get more playing time there and would be hard for other teams to cover.

He has spent time at TE, but is at receiver for now. If he continues to develop, he can be a mismatch for DBs regardless of where he lines up.

It seems like he would have more playing time opportunities at tight end with all of the wide receivers we'll have the next two years.

Maybe he'll move, especially if some of the kids we've recruited don't step up. We lose a bunch at that psn after this year.

he looks like the ideal TE with a couple years of growth... i can't believe he's only 215, looks closer to 225.

Stoltenberg was a warrior yesterday. He ate double teams all day and really struggled just running on and off the field. He hadn't been able to work out for the last week and half.

He had a good game, I was just surprised to see him pull up when they were trying to wrestle that back down. Kid broke free and scored the long TD with Stolt essentially escorting him trying to put the gas back on.

I'm still trying to figure out what you guys saw to be so critical of Mick???

Reimers seems like a great kid. Even after last nights big win he was in church with his family this morning. Another hard working walk on who will have a solid career at NU.

He had a great game.

So did Tommy. He still threw incompletes.

Read this as "not a huge deal" just crossed my brain as I watched the play (more to the point, if that was the score that lost the game, somebody would be shooting Banker with it).

He was trying to jump over and around bodies on the ground. He's damn near 300 pounds chasing a waterbug with a bad wheel trying to navigate arms and legs. I'm just glad he didn't roll up on anybody and blowout a tire.
