Cindy M. Van Bibber, Director, Omaha National Cemetery, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders participate in a Funeral Service, Wednesday, November 16, 2016, 2:00PM, at Omaha National Cemetery.
Veteran Lucille Chilton passed away April of last year without any next of kin. She is being buried Wednesday November 16th at the Omaha National Cemetery (ONC). Veteran Chilton was a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force.
According to Director Bibber, “Her neighbor took care of her cremation and came out to the cemetery to make arrangements for burial when he told me that she didn’t have any family so I thought it fitting to make sure we have the Final Salute Society and other members of the Omaha National Cemetery Support Committee give her a fitting farewell.”
Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at
Omaha National Cemetery
14250 Schram Road
Omaha, Nebraska.
Funerals are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled service time.

CEMETERY SERVICE: 2:00pm At the shelter on the Western edge of the Cemetery
IMPORTANT! DO NOT PROCEED TO THE SHELTER IF THERE IS A SERVICE IN PROGRESS. -STOP AT THE OFFICE PARKING LOT FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS.
ASSEMBLY: Turn LEFT immediately after passing through the Schram Road Cemetery Entrance. Circle the Flag pole in the middle of the cul d’sac and park on the West side of the road leaving room for the Funeral procession. The Cemetery service is held at the shelter directly West of the Flag Pole. The Flag Line will assemble on the West side of the Shelter, facing East being sure to not block the Honor Guard.
