These are always big and were a bugaboo early in the season, so I was curious to see what the numbers showed. Looks like steady progress in penalties save for the Illinois game (would have to dig deeper into the play-by-play to see how many of those were by reserves late in the game). Up and down for turnovers (same with reserves against Bethune-Cookman and Illinois).
Defensively, we have gotten much better at forcing turnovers as the season has progressed.
As much as penalties were a problem for us early in the year, I was a little shocked to see how much our opponents were penalized, too.
