Yeah we'll pretend winning the division is still the main goal, if not completely unrealistic.

What else? I think they should play for a bowl game. Get bowl eligible. Send the seniors to their last one. Take a trip somewhere warm as a team, use the extra practices as much as you can.

Winning record. Don't go out .500 or below.

Improvement on defense.

Improvement on the running game.

1. Beat Wisconsin.
2. Beat Iowa
3. Beat Minnesota
4. Win out
5. Win west
6. Win conference championship.

Still all possible? Yes. Likely? No. Possible yes. You set your goals for the possible and give it your best shot.

You don't keep moving the goal posts.
Short term goals first then long term goals. Ultimate goal is still to win the conference because obviously getting in the playoff ain't happenin. As your boy Bo said, "our goals are still intact".

The first goal should be for this team and staff to learn how to play when they have a lead and finish games. The days of coasting to victories are long gone. I don't care who you are playing.

Survival. Winking
Don't look beyond your next opponent and prepare well physically and mentally for each game. Be professional in both the way you play the game and in the way you handle yourself after the game. (Don't read message boards.)

Bowl game somewhere in Texas so I can go watch it...maybe not very high expectations but vey achievable from my selfish perspective.

Winning the west is still possible. I dont see Iowa beating everyone and i still think we beat them this year again. It looks like we may have finally found our RBs or very close to it (Andy possibly the next Mike Alstott?). And Chris Webber looks to be the real deal. Most teams we play this year are run teams minus Northwestern. We have a decent chance. We should beat Min, can beat Wisky, Purdue should be a win as well and i saying it now, the MSU game will be the game where we truly see what we have with theae coaches and they have a killer plan set, ours guys firing and have our team figured out by then and rolling and we beat MSU by 7.
The goals stay the same in my opinion. And thank God these coaches aren't giving up like a lot of you gusy are. We can turn this corner around and we WILL. My 8-4 and 9-3 goal is still intact.

Playing to the players strengths would be a nice start. Then figure out how to adjust to weather conditions.
Less penalties.

I'd say 8-4 or 7-5 is a decent goal at this point, then winning a bowl game.
