Schwellenbach in the majors..Awards..

Schwelly named John Olerud 2 way player of the year. Congrats!!
Nice. Congrats to him.

Best John Olerud story ever, from NY Mets spring training:

Rickey Henderson: “Hey man, you always wear that helmet when you play first?”

Olerud: “Yes .”

Henderson: “Rickey had a teammate in Seattle who did that. Had some kinda old head injury.”

Olerud: “That was me.”

Not sure about height but he can bring it heat wise. 98 to 99 mph

The minute he stepped on the mound he would be the number one reliever or number 2 or 3 starter from my Twins. Goodness their pitching sucks. I would think he'll get a strong look as a pitcher. There's just such a dearth of good pitching right now.

Damn. That's a waste to have him stuck at 2nd or 3rd. IMO he's a MLB ready reliever today.
Alex Bregman 5 yrs $100,000,000
SP Lance McCullars 5yrs $80,000,000

outside of Garrett Cole the largest contracts are all position players and no relief pitchers.

even if you go by annual salary, all starting pitchers and position players.

I'm just saying that watching him pitch he could make the 40 man RIGHT now for my Twins as a reliever. Goodness their bull pen has sucked this year. He isn't getting paid like the guys you listed any time soon no matter where he plays.
