do we have anybody not yet committed but high on our list at this camp? Is anybody going to pull the trigger this weekend?
'17 WR Jeremiah Hawkins impressed Nebraska

Nebraska’s satellite camp tour is in the books and one of the best 2017 players to make an appearance was Yorba Linda high school (CA) wide receiver
Jeremiah Hawkins.
The 2017 Cali prep only currently has an offer from
Utah, but it will likely change in the near future.
“It was a great camp,” said Hawkins. “The coaches said after the camp that I was the MVP and they will be offering soon.
“They liked how I came off the ball and how none of the defensive backs could touch me off the line of scrimmage. I was catching everything and running crisp routes. I was always open. They loved that about me.”
Hawkins is currently 5-foot-9 and 170-pounds. While his offer list isn’t extremely big at the moment, schools on the west coast have taken notice, including: Cal, Utah and
Washington State.
The soon to be junior talked about getting coaching from receiving coach
Keith Williams.
“He’s a great coach. I loved everything about him. He’s got a lot of enthusiasm. He really teaches the little things. He likes me a lot. I could definitely see myself playing for Coach Williams.
“ Nebraska has a wonderful coaching staff. I could definitely see them pulling California kids in the Big Ten.”
While often California underclassmen recruits don’t know all the ins and outs when it comes to Nebraska, the Huskers are getting a little help on the recruiting front when it comes to Hawkins.
“Patrick O’Brien, he’s my 7-on-7 quarterback,” said Hawkins. “He says that the facilities are unbelievable. He’s encouraging me to take a visit.”
Big Red Report will continue to monitor the situation.
