We will definitely take him. He is a 3 star on ESPN and 24/7. And only a notch difference from Decap Bootle on Rivals. We can never have enough depth in the secondary. GBR
Good get
I’m curious what relevance being only a notch difference from Bootle has?
what ever your mind can come up with play boy. Lol. Jeez I actually thought it was pretty obvious my point...but hey, maybe it’s not. Let your mind run wild
ThanksWe need highly-rated 4-star players, not 2 & 3 stars if we want to win the Big Ten West. Every player looks good on film when you're a 2-3 star player. Let's see if Delancy can make a difference or he sits on the bench.

since everyone cares, how about we all post our specific concerns below. this way, they're all in one place when Coach Frost comes to the board for his daily check in.
I'll start: I'm generally concerned that grown men post their concerns about 17 year old kids, about whom they know less than they know about the sport they're coming to NU to play, as if there is one single person who gives a sh*t.

Or...you could concern yourself with a player's ability to cover, his quickness, his physicality, and his fluidity.. And perhaps the fact that we've had very few 2-stars start for us since 2002, and ZERO that have become All Conference, other than a kicker or punter.
But that's just me. For some silly reason, I take note of those meaningless items.
I like the gif...but if you're going to make silly comments, at least be able to support them. Not one 2-star has made All Conference since 2002, and actually, only about 20% have any starting experience, and the majority of those are kickers and punters.
Who knows. This kid may come in and be a world beater. But the odds are highly against it.

Any time a kid comes out of high school all anyone can really go of off is ranking to compare apple to apples. Yes, there are no guarantees in the game of college football and recruiting. As we have found out to often, success and rankings in high school doesn't always translate to success in college. However rankings are as good as any place to start. It’s not obvious ... please enlighten.
Surely your point isn’t. player x was ranked here and player y is ranked about the same and therefore they will perform about the same.
when the kid has physicality + fluidity of a 3-star or higher:
when he finally commits after all that scoutingDamn, I didn't know there was one with even more aggressive...ahem...bell ringing. Yikes!

This. In my humble opinion, once you get beyond the top 20 recruiting classes in the nation, there isn’t much that separates a team ranking of 21st from the team ranked 41st. Player development and coaching are the bigger factors in that range. So the difference between a high three star and a low 4 star is negligible and often subjective.Any time a kid comes out of high school all anyone can really go of off is ranking to compare apple to apples.
