Confirmed with head coach Tim Miles that Nebraska freshman Isaiah Roby will be out 6-8 weeks as he recovers from a stress fracture in his pelvis, an injury he suffered back during his senior high school season this winter.
This isn't a new issue for Roby, rather something that he has been able to play through up until recently but got to the point where the pain got to be too much to ignore. They did an MRI and an x-ray on it last week and found a small small stress fracture.
The 6-8 week recovery timetable started last week, and Miles said he didn't anticipate it being anything that would affect Roby's status for the start of the 2016-17 season.
