RIP Todd Carpenter

PHOENIX — Todd C. Carpenter, 52, passed away in his sleep at his Phoenix home on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016.

Todd graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1982 and then played football on scholarship for the University of Nebraska as an offensive tackle from 1982 to 1986. Playing as a Husker for Tom Osborne was one of the highlights of Todd’s life.

Our band played an outdoor gig at his house in Denton, NE way back in '88 maybe. Big party that lasted only about 7 or 8 songs, because the neighbors called the cops on him as a result of the noise. RIP Mr. Carpenter.
