Ugh, that is not good. Not sure if he had a prior injury/surgery, but that comment potentially puts into doubt whether he can ever become a reliable workhorse at running back. Anybody know his injury history? Hopefully Riley isn't summarizing the medical situation well......

Given this reality, I'd say the league is not in Tre's future.
 
Riley certainly didn't help his NFL prospects with the quote either. Too bad for the kid, however.

I love a workhorse at running back so I had no problem with Tre's amount of carries. However, if the staff knows there are issues about his knee maybe they should limit him a bit more and trust the other guys.

Sure doesn't sound good. Sounds like a chronically inflamed knee that maybe didn't get the attention it needed as a high schooler. Better get his degree in something he can find a good job in. 99% of college kids should be doing that anyway I guess.
 
You think this is why his production dropped in the second half in both games?
