Rhule Aid Drinkers

Fickel choosing not to go for 2, down 18, and then going for 2, down 14, was bizarre. I could only imagine the reaction from LF's biggest fan if Rhule had done something like that.
1st one was bad.

2nd one is what the book/analytics say you're supposed to do.

Why would the analytics say to go for 2 down 14? You could win the game with two TD's and XP's, missing the 2-pt, brings OT into the equation.
sorry, you're right.

down 14 prior to the score, go for 2.

down 14 after the fact, kick it.

two bad coaching decisions by fickell there. guy was on tilt.

not so much is that I like to give coaches a fair shake before shaking them down for milk money
I don't know. you seem convinced Fickell and Deion are worse than our guy after the same length of tenure.

this is the crux of your Rhule fandom, and again, I don't knock you for it:

I had a conversation with my dad this last week about Nebraska football. He, being a Rhule hater, had some interesting takes. He thought Dylan was no better than the 3 QBs that played last year and that Rhule doesn't know X's and O's and is only a cheerleader.
My dad was a principal who jerked off in his office on camera

it's best for all of us that he works out and wins meaningfully here (conf titles, playoff births, etc.)

some don't have the willful blinders/personal fuel required to charge full steam past the red flags.

you are correct - Matt Rhule has now joined the 100% of Nebraska coaches who've performed better than Scott Frost. a good thing!

I find it absolutely hilarious, were going bowling and the ungrateful self entitled commoner idiots of the board are still calling for Rhule's head! Rhule got us to our 1st bowl game in 8 years, and instead of celebrating all you do is still whine, bitch and complain relentlessly like little girls and are a total embarrassment. Step back from the ledge and enjoy this new journey we're on as our season no longer ends after the Iowa game. 1 step at a time boys and yes we are heading in the right direction

Everyone does have a right to their own opinons but not everyone shares in your hot mess takes, and not everyone on the board wants to continually hear your incessant rants in every thread! That is all!

You assume I really care if I am wrong on some things. That is your territory.
The thing is, I don't beat a dead horse for weeks after getting into an emotional tirade.

no, I assume that if your dad was a huge Rhule fan you'd be much more critical of him.

right/wrong has nothing to do with it.

wait & see:

sometimes acceptable, sometimes not.

typical.

I'm not ready to crown our 11-12 head coach as an obvious better choice than their 12-12 head coach.

their guy was forced to hire outside of what made him successful at Cincy because of a public campaign from the AD and school president to get away from what he inherited (sound familiar?)

our guy was allowed to do what he wanted with his staff until it proved so horrendously hopeless that he was made to look outside what made him successful after just 22 games here.

their staff/team will look nothing like we saw on Saturday. perhaps our changes have already been made.

jury's still out. obviously.
A joke. Lighten up Francis.
