I don't see where moving to the Big 12 would give them much improvement over the ACC unless the Big 12 is willing to move to disproportionate media shares among its members which seems unlikely. More likely those talks (if they're real) are just a way to continue pressuring the ACC to either let them go or give them a larger share.

Perhaps they're thinking its a conference they could roll over on teams year after year to get them into the championship run?

That's the only thing I can think of which is dangerous because, regardless of what some of the posts I've seen here, I still believe there's some teams that can do Damage in that division...
