Renting an RV in Omaha

We are heading through the Blackhills to Yellowstone out of Omaha and considering renting an RV.

Any recommendations or advice? I'm not really sold on the idea, but it would give us a bit more freedom in our plans, etc

There are only three of us. Two adults and my 12 year old son.
