I saw the Solich years but none of THE RUN. I was too young and overseas.
It was a midlife crisis for me if Nebraska lost in the regular season or was upset.

I was there. It was brutal. The CU team and fans took out 11 straight years of beatings by NU in one very cold and shitty afternoon.

Their fans were even worse than normal that day. They are right on top of the NU bench and just were relentless towards Crouch and our team. Left at half before getting into it with those pricks.

I kind of checked out on the Husker in my high school years because we would always get beat by OU at the end of the year. Couldn't believe Tom couldn't beat Barry. Thankfully I was at the game when he finally pulled it off. Normally I sold my ticket to help pay for school.
