There is absolutely ZERO respect for our Husker Team this year in football. Nobody is respecting our Team, and nobody is picking us to do anything. We are in the Top5 Teams of ALL-TIME, and have dominated for 50 years playing smash-mouth football and blowing teams away. I am absolutely tired of being mediocre. This years team has a great chance of coming together with Riley and really producing some super results. I want the Team to feel disrespected, and I want to Team to come together as Blackshirts and dominate again. Put this up on the Locker room walls and realize that EVERYONE is picking Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, MSU, Iowa and Minnesota OVER our Huskers this year. Think about this. Get angry, and take it out on the field of play. We are behind the TEAM this year and every year.

Four years you say? Guess guys like Steve Spurrier, Frank Beamer, and Bruce Snyder never got the memo...

Also, when RILEY does retire, why does it have to be a start over? Many programs build off of previous success. Why should this be different?

One thing to keep in mind, is many in the media don't quite know what to expect out of the team this year. There is a big 'wait and see' type of attitude nationally among the sports writers. This will resolve itself in time. I def understand the frustration, but the fact is, we have had chances in the past, but failed to earn that respect. You are only as good as your last 'at bat'. Put it on film and go out and earn it, the rest will follow.

Actually only one is a grammatical error, the other is just plain not knowing how to spell the name of the coach you know so much about. I mean obviously you guys have dinner together and swap stories about your children and retirement since you know he's gone in four years. Next time you are over at his house, check his mail to verify the spelling. Maybe we all have it wrong.

Everyone is wanting to give this staff a free pass which is IMO dumb. If we don't win at least 10 games with this schedule, we are in for a long era with this new staff. This staff must win. I hope Riley can handle the pressure of our expectations better then Bo did. But Bo won 9-10 games each season. Riley must do better.
