Could they be reasonably split into games where what the offense is doing now will be enough to win (NW, PU, and MSU), and games where the offense will have to produce more for the defense to hold serve (Wisc and MD). Not sure which group Iowa belongs to.

That seems like a reasonable outlook to me.

In these next 3 games seeing a return of Sims, at least part time, with HH on the field at the same time, might be just the additional boost we need to help in the final 3 games. HH and Sims are two of our best offensive weapons.

We HAVE to play better on offense if we wanna win any more games. Sure we could get lucky if the other team is worse, but what we’ve seen so far ain’r gonna cut it if the team is serious about making a bowl game.

Our offense was bad at the start of the year. Now with all of the injuries it is looking like a MASH unit. I am not counting on our offense to score more than 20 or so points in any of our remaining games.
I think we beat NW, MSU and Iowa. We will get beat by Wisconsin and Maryland. For some reason I think we will struggle against Purdue but I don’t know.
I see us ending 6-6. 7-5 would thrill me.

Purdue will most likely be the best offense we play in the next 3 coming weeks who‘s the best defense‘s team we play in the next 3 weeks might be Sparty..

We’ll find out next week who the leader is in the West, I don’t think Ioway will produce enough offense to beat Wisconsin and we most likely we are in the same boat but 5 teams in the conference are worse than we are and were 102 in total offense…

Nobody remaining we can't beat, but also nobody that couldn't beat us..

We are improving, Defense is good enough to be stout against our schedule,

Gotta get some offense though. Gonna need to throw it against most of the teams we face. Dives, power, and QB runs are on film. We have to get better.

Also think is a bad week to have a BYE. Team needs to get back on the horse a ride again. They felt winning against an equal opponent.

Would have been nice to have a BYE week before Wisconsin.

NW - win (just a terrible team)
Purdue - win (tough game, pretty evenly matched teams)
@ Mich St - loss (I think we’re better but thats a tough road test)
Maryland - win (soft team, terrible coach, they’ll start fading now)
@ Wisco - loss (They’re improving every week and tough environment up there)
Iowa - win (not sure on this as their D and special teams are salty but the O is horrific. Probably a terrible ugly field position game won by a fg)
