Turner Gill was great at Buffalo when he was about Frost's age and he was assumed by many experts here to be the next big thing. It turns out Buffalo was his ceiling. Of course the experts here couldn't be wrong twice about a former Husker qb.

I'm not exactly sold on Frost so this isn't some support response to him but there were more than just Nebraska fans who thought Gill would do well at a P5 school.

I'm sure there were and I'm sure that is true of Frost too. But I just wish all of these "hire Scott" posts could wait at least two weeks. If the team turns it around and Riley stays all of these Frost posts are not helpful. For what it's worth I think 6-6 is our ceiling but the next two weeks could change everything. Not likely but not impossible.
