I just received a couple DMs from receiver Andre Hunt and this is where things stand with him and NU:
"Things are good. Spoke to Coach Walters and Coach Frost today. I will see them tomorrow. I'm scheduled to visit Nebraska Feb. 02."
Hunt added that Oregon St. & San Diego St. are also still in the picture with him as well.

You can cross Tyrese Ross off your list of NU targets. He tells me the Husker staff is no longer contacting him.

This could complicate things.

Defensive back Eric Garror has committed to Richmond, but he tells me the Huskers aren't out of the picture if they do end up offering him.
"No it doesn’t mean that. I’m still waiting on an offer and see from there."

Over the past couple of weekends, Hamilton Hall took his first two official visits to Memphis and to Louisville respectively.
"It went well, I really enjoyed it," Hall said of his official visit to Louisville. "I would say I probably liked the most the community surrounding Louisville. It was a sight to see, really. I had never seen anything like that where the city is so behind the team and their sports. Really, it was pretty cool."
Hall said what most that out to him about his official trip to Memphis the weekend prior was the way the players interacted with the coaches, as well as the environment in the program.
Next on tap for him will be official visits to Ole Miss on January 26 and to Nebraska on February 2. He is also expecting in-home visits from both of those coaching staffs this week.
"I am supposed to have one with Ole Miss on Tuesday with their head coach and offensive line coach, and then on Wednesday, it will be with Nebraska's head coach and offensive line coach."
Hall believes he is versatile enough to play either offensive guard or offensive tackle.
"I can definitely play both. I will play wherever a school needs me. Louisville wants me for offensive tackle; Ole Miss said they want me at tackle, but I might have the opportunity to play guard; and then, Nebraska is recruiting me for both. So, it's really wherever a team needs me."
Hall said that he is still developing his relationship with the Cornhusker coaching staff.
"I haven't met Coach (Scott) Frost in person yet, but I have been in contact with him and with Coach (Greg) Austin. They both seem like really great guys and really great men. So, I would like to sit down with Coach Frost and talk with him. I already know it's going to go well."
Asked what will determine where he will hand up going to college, Hall replied:
"Academics is number one. The way they balance their athletics and academics schedule. Environment for me is really huge. That's really key for me because it will help me decide what type of environment I want to be in with each school and if I feel like I can call that place home. That's going to be a huge factor to where I decide to go to college."
He said that he plans to decide after taking all of his visits.

He is seriously considering moving his official visit to Lincoln up from February 2 to this coming weekend of January 26. He said it is "up in the air right now" but that he should know for sure by Wednesday.
When asked for his interest level in Nebraska, Hall replied: "Very high!"
Asked why he is so interested in the Huskers, he said:
"The coaching staff, the people that I know who goes to Nebraska, and the culture down there."
We'll be checking back in with him this week to see if he does indeed move his official up to this coming weekend.
