Reagents Voting for Alcohol Sales for Football & Volleyball in 2025

whatever generates more money for the potential and current athletes. The older I get the less alcohol appeals to me but like I said I am more than for others being able to spend spend spend

NU is currently the only Big 10 football stadium not selling alcohol. 12 dollar beers will generate a lot of revenue. Or whatever they charge for a 16 oz beer now.
Sell Cornhead Lager.

Honestly the dumb argument of "people are going to get hammered and angry" at the games is dumb. Those types are coming to the game blacked out to begin with and at over $10 a beer with lines they aren't going to get tanked at the game.

That’s because TO is against it alcohol in the stadium …He’s way behind the modern day of making income…

And he shouldn’t have any input on the matter..

I don't see how it will create issues. Everyone that drinks at the games already drinks at the games. All this will do is cut down on sneaking in shooters (not for me though) and running out to your tailgate spot at halftime.

I don’t care either way. My wife’s best friend’s husband has season tickets to the Seahawks. I think he has them just to get drunk. They have lots of money so the price of beer is not a factor. She is always getting pissed at him and leaving him at the game. She gets a ride home with friends. Just think. He’s driving home.

Then we expect you to contribute to 1890 or donate to the athletic department..
Absolutely not. What an absurd take.
I buy tickets and merch. What the university does with the profit is their business. If they want to pad the elites checkbooks or use it to pay for dumb crap thats fine, but dont “woe is me” regarding nil funds. They have plenty of money to funnel to the athletes, they just dont want to.

Look what happed with the credit card compared to cash sales..University was getting ripped off and could have profited from it..
Same with alcohol, no reason to profit from it when everyone else in the country is doing it..

It’s a no brainer..

Ok?
Do you enjoy having conversations with yourself?
What does that have to do with you expecting me to “donate” and me telling you that's a dumb take?

I am not positive about now but in the past at Husky Stadium you had to go to a specific area to drink beer and wine.
I had Husky season tickets in the eighties and nineties and then again the last year the Huskers played there. In the old day we had 4 really cute girls that were a lot of fun two rows below us. I don’t think they ever saw a 4th quarter. Too drunk and by then their bottle(s) rolled down the aisle and they were kicked out.

So you think the TO legacy football complex is dumb crap?
I feel they should take advantage of anything that helps pay for coaches, improved seating etc etc..

I do agree if you buy season tickets your paying extra for your seat or 2 or 4 you are donating to the program… It’s not going to hurt you that fans are drinking in the stands.

Yes, they need holograms instead of the plastic cutouts at the front. Would be a lot cooler.
