"Garrison Johnson, a junior running back who already is committed to Nebraska, announced he is transferring to Manvel High School on Monday.

Johnson rushed for 1,568 yards and 18 touchdowns as a sophomore at Frenship High School last year. He is transferring to Manvel, because his father recently accepted a job in the Houston area.

The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Johnson ...is ranked as the 18th-best running back recruit in the country in the Class of 2019."

There's been rumor of him being a heavy husker lean for awhile now; I remember hearing his name back in January. Hope he's N.

I've seen this kids name before and other than he's super pro Husker on twitter, don't really know much about him.

What's with the light offer list?

On the recruiting front Johnson currently holds two offers; Nebraska and SMU. He’s also getting interest from Oklahoma and Kansas among others.

“It’s going good; it’s slow right now since I’m a sophomore but I expect it to pick up a little bit heading into my junior year,” Johnson said.

Johnson feels fortunate to have already received offers from two programs he has a high interest in so far.

“Nebraska is a big time Power 5 school and they’ve had some of the best running backs in college history,” he said. “I went to an SMU game this past season and I really liked the coaches and the facilities. They said they want us to get our education before anything and that was big to my mom and me.”

I cant bring myself to believe it, but the source was reliable..... Not ready to put a name out there as a prediction yet, but when I saw the thread I thought perhaps others were hearing the same thing.

Hmmm interesting. If it's Pledger just throw that thought out the window. Pledger is never leaving OU unless some insane scandal comes out about them.
