Did you read that tweet? He basically said it in his announcement. "I'm committed, but go ahead and keep recruiting me." Haha.He said on Twitter he is still visiting.
^^This^^I think they should call it a reservation. It's like when you are going to go out for dinner, you might call and make a reservation around lunchtime, but things could totally change by the time dinner rolls around.
I think it would help if college coaches would stick with a school they have committed to as well (up until their contract expires of course).Needs a lesson about what a commitment is and isn't
The problem with this is that coaches have to always have 4+ years remaining on their contracts, or it would be used against them in recruiting.I think it would help if college coaches would stick with a school they have committed to as well (up until their contract expires of course).
I agree completely. I just find it silly that if a high schooler commits, but still keeps his options open or end up decommiting then they are the bad guy. But a coach can jump from school to school and it's okay. The problem with this is that coaches have to always have 4+ years remaining on their contracts, or it would be used against them in recruiting.
Curious if that goes for the school committing to the coach through his contract also?I think it would help if college coaches would stick with a school they have committed to as well (up until their contract expires of course).
Sure. They all have to understand what a commitment means.Curious if that goes for the school committing to the coach through his contract also?
