Why would think that he needs people to start recruiting and visiting homes before the signing day on December 21..Boy, Rhule is fast. I didn't expect to hear so many names so quickly.

Time is ticking.Boy, Rhule is fast. I didn't expect to hear so many names so quickly.
He's probably been at this for a couple weeks already.Boy, Rhule is fast. I didn't expect to hear so many names so quickly.
Yes. The problem for Applewhite is Rhule wants coaches who can hit the ground running teaching his system from day one.Was Ajay here because of Applewhite
"If he can somehow get Nebraska’s running backs to run north/south more instead of thinking they are in the 6th grade where they are faster than everybody else then I think this should be an upgrade."Report: Nebraska to Hire E.J. Barthel as Running Backs Coach
The offensive staff is starting to take shape.www.cornnation.com
His recruiting was fine. The results on the field were very underwhelming.Bummer for Applewhite… I liked that guy and felt like he was our in for recruiting North Texas
I get that... I have to believe an inept OL and new guys learning from his instruction didn't help either... TCU Loved the guy...His recruiting was fine. The results on the field were very underwhelming.
He's had all that free time to plan his staff since he was fired by Carolina. So once he signed the deal with Nebraska then he just had to finalize official offers. Probably made promises to them before he had a school and that's likely one of the reasons no Nebraska assistants are being retained.Boy, Rhule is fast. I'm just not thrilled with the choice. Admittedly, I have no knowledge of him. I only saw his career stops and I wasn't impressed. Not a fan?
He was recruiting coordinator at Penn St in 2016. Their 2017 Rivals ranking was 12th, so there's that.I'm just not thrilled with the choice. Admittedly, I have no knowledge of him. I only saw his career stops and I wasn't impressed.
Am I missing something? Koolaid me, Johnny... in a purely and only Nebraska FB way on why this is a good hire?
Thanks, buddy. Appreciated. He was recruiting coordinator at Penn St in 2016. Their 2017 Rivals ranking was 12th, so there's that.
Oldjar Could do better than every single coach we had. Just ask him. You know he’s a class C high school position coach so he’s got cred. ….I get that... I have to believe an inept OL and new guys learning from his instruction didn't help either... TCU Loved the guy...
To be fair, most he likely has coordinator experience, class c usually only have about 4 coaches. Gota multi task!Oldjar Could do better than every single coach we had. Just ask him. You know he’s a class C high school position coach so he’s got cred. ….
You do realize that’s an administrative role and not a coaching/recruiter role?He was recruiting coordinator at Penn St in 2016. Their 2017 Rivals ranking was 12th, so there's that.
I don't have any idea whether he's a good hire or not. I no longer keep up with the who's who of assistant college football coaches. I do however assume that Matt Rhule knows exactly what he's looking for and has put together multiple staffs that have turned around 2 college programs. I think that should buy him a little bit of leeway.I'm just not thrilled with the choice. Admittedly, I have no knowledge of him. I only saw his career stops and I wasn't impressed.

According to his press conference he's thought about this and has his vision. Am surprised how quick some of the new hires have come....he said he wanted to talk to players and then coaches about status etcI don't have any idea whether he's a good hire or not. Well, that's perfectly understandable. I'll defer to your judgement. Thanks bud 😊I don't have any idea whether he's a good hire or not. Some of our past coaches could learn a thing or two watching Pierce, Aurora, McCook etc, just sayinOldjar Could do better than every single coach we had. Just ask him. You know he’s a class C high school position coach so he’s got cred. ….
Something tells me our Coaches departing now will easily find D1 work if they want. Oldjar not so much…….Some of our past coaches could learn a thing or two watching Pierce, Aurora, McCook etc, just sayin
My judgment is suspect at best.Well, that's perfectly understandable. I'll defer to your judgement. Thanks bud 😊
You're a good buddy no matter what. I enjoy you. Don't be so hard on yourself, okay? ^_^My judgment is suspect at best.
You just aren't used to coaches with a work ethicBoy, Rhule is fast. I didn't expect to hear so many names so quickly.
