"Running with Violence!" THAT's the exact thing I wanted to hear! Dude's got my vote of confidence!
Moving around well.I'm somewhat certain that was a phrase Frank used when he was the RB coach at NU
Moving around well.
This guy is fantastic, gives some great insight into what they are looking for player mentality wise. The way this came off, it seems like they want aggressive competitive winners who can play. If this is what they follow, we won't be recruiting any effeminate pussies to the team like the last regime. Haven't finished the interview, but I like this guy a lot.
Although I agree with your assessment of Big Ben, Rhule n the Gang brought in some heavy players to defensive side of the ball too!Ben Scott will be the most important player that Rhule has brought in to give the team a fighting chance next season. Period.
Ya, I said it..Although I agree with your assessment of Big Ben, Rhule n the Gang brought in some heavy players to defensive side of the ball too!
WR coaching spot is still open, so we may yet get some #savageprofessionalism.Savage professionalism
It is obvious that all the coaches including Rhule are not talking about current players. Probably because they want to start with a blank slate. Naming players might show pre conceived bias. There wasn't any mention of last season's running backs. Thought we had a couple of good ones that could rack up yards with the right OL play and without injuries. Hope he connects with them as well and they get a good chance to excel.
Running with violence, an example."Running with Violence!" THAT's the exact thing I wanted to hear! Dude's got my vote of confidence!
Well in the interviews they were asked specifically about names of new additions and answered the question so, no, I don't see any bias from the interviews. It's just a general comment that we do have some existing talent that shouldn't be forgotten. It is obvious that all the coaches including Rhule are not talking about current players. We all sure hope soAjay still here is a good sign
What I meant is they are talking about new recruits and transfers, but not the players who were here last year. Maybe my use of the term "current players" was not a good phrase to describe players returning from last year. The assistant coaches were not asked about returning players by Jessica Coody in the interviews so I assume she was told they would not be discussing returning players. Rhule was asked about Casey Thompson (in the context of fitting in the offense) and as I recall said he had talked to him and then deflected by saying he has a great family and has played some ball - nothing specific. I have no idea why the coaches aren't discussing returning players, but my guess is they want to send the signal the returning players are all "their guys" now and are working with a clean slate.Well in the interviews they were asked specifically about names of new additions and answered the question so, no, I don't see any bias from the interviews. How do you figure?Ben Scott will be the most important player that Rhule has brought in to give the team a fighting chance next season. Period.
Based upon the performance of the OL the last couple of years. And based upon who Casey might be interested in playing behind next season if he is so inclined. How do you figure?
But I have yet to see a Fullback coach on the team or any players signed for that position.
