Ranking the 2015 recruits

For fun, I like to rank the recruits. The players are already ranked by the recruiting services (I included rankings based on a couple of the services for comparison). Overall, I like the class. The players I rank toward the bottom are players I consider as a little riskier and more questionable in some ways, but there's still a lot of talent and potential. I can't how I ranked last year's class, but I don't think I had Kalu anywhere near the top.

I wanted to get my rankings before spring practice... After spring would be cheating because we get to find out more about 4 of them. All 4 of the early enrollees are pretty good; I think Young may make the biggest impact because of our LB depth.
Jordan Ober at the bottom of all the rankings is a bit unfair. Special teamers almost always get ranked lower.

Not a bad ranking. I'd probably put Ozigbo higher though. I think he will be pretty good.

Where would you rank them today?

Nice find Charlie. This class, looking back, is actually pretty dam solid. Especially on D. And I'll bite and I am sure many wont agree. The ironic thing to me is Snyder & Barnett were two of the most hyped recruits on this board in that class and IMO are actually 2 guys that may never really contribute all that much. Snyder's got Hoppes, Stoll, & Engelhaupt all a head of him and the TE depth & talent is only going to get better.

Barnett is a sub at best and we all know Cav doesn't sub, sooo..

But 1-14 actually pretty dam good. Hell I'd go so far to say 1-15 cause I expect Ober to lock down LS.

Pretty solid looking class. Counting Ober, there are 8 who have already played a lot. This year it looks like 4 or 5 more could start to contribute, and if players like Barry, Lee, Snyder, Decker, and Ferguson get their chances they could move up the list fast. A promising OL class looks disappointing at this time. A couple of under-the-radar types Riley brought in to fill out the class worked out well.
