Decent breakdown of the upcoming game but one thing really stuck out to me. TA in talking about what the Whisky D will bring to the table:

“We have a different playbook this year,” he said. “We’ve seen blitzes; we’re seeing different things. Wisconsin knew our playbook from last year and how to place things because we’ve played them three years in a row with the same offensive playbook.”

I understand playing conference teams you get used to tendencies, and I'm sure we didn't actually use the same playbook three years in a row.....at least I'm thinking I'm sure. Says a lot though that our QB felt we did. Could be a reason why we seemed to jump out early on teams and then they say to themselves....oh, they didn't change anything, we can do this now!

Very telling, but really nothing we didn't know. The Wisconsin 15 was sound, why change that scheme?

I see what he's saying, but I don't really get it. Wouldn't we (Nebraska) know their playbook as well? Or did our coaches never watch film?

GBR!!!!

We need you guys to knock the Badgers off. If you do, we can pretty much eliminate them from the West Championship.

Love to see it, but very little chance of it happening. On top of (sometimes) poor coaching, we are now beat up physically at nearly every position, except the one we don't substitute players - OL. Add to the fact the wind is going to blow; we will not run consistently against Wisc., and they will wear us down the 2nd half, - this week is not looking good. Next few weeks aren't either.

Wisky...wear us down? With what? That 74th ranked rushing attack? Wisky is a shell of what they were before. Coming into the year they had a bunch of newcomers. Add in injuries...especially to their best player and rising star running back...and Wisky would be lucky to score a touchdown against Southern Alabama.

It's not going to take until the 2nd half for them to wear us down. They are going to pound us with the run non-stop, and without some of our DLinemen available, we are going to be in trouble very early in this game.

Well they are not playing the south Alabama defense they are playing the Nebraska defense that can make other teams qb look better even in bad conditions

Wisconsin defense is for real... Expect a low scoring slugfest where both teams will have a hard time running the ball. I think this comes down to which QB will turn the ball over more IMO! It will probably be like the Iowa/Wisconsin game where both teams tried to give the game away.

As previously noted by many posters, you're delusional (and devisive by choice).

If it comes down to QB play, where both defenses shut the run down (this defense is goo d against the run so it can happen), oh and it sounds like V Valentine is back fanilly which will be huge against Wisky power running game, then i like us winning. I think Tommy is the better QB. Assuming hes not threwing ducks like last week. If hes on, we win by 10.
Again my prediction is....
Badgers 17
Huskers 27

Yes i upped my line to 27 from 24

Now if Tommys off on his throws again.
Badgers 24
Huskers 13.

Wisconsin beat us 70-31 with an average at best 7-5 football team just three years ago.
