Looking like we have a shot to land all three of these studs, and soon! My guess is, with both Allen and Goodrich being 6'2", we wouldn't need any more receivers in the 2018 class, since we'd have Fuller as a slot guy.

For the sake of argument, lets say we land all three. That means we have

TE - 1 4*
DT/NT - 1 3*
WR - 3 4*
CB - 1 4*

We're also looking like we're going to land Will Farniok (3*) as a center for the O line, and Grahm Roberts (3*) at RB.

And the guys we're landing in the 4 star range are top players.

That leaves roughly 10 spots left, and we already know that they are trying to be extremely choosy on D linemen and O linemen, since we have a relatively healthy number of both now. My guess is that we're going to see 1 more CB and 1 S, 2-3 linebackers, 1 amazing stud RB, 1 QB, and 2-3 more O and D linemen of some kind.

Does this all sound like a pretty healthy spread in terms of positions?

Thanks all! Look forward to the input.

Goodrich a WR for sure? Just saw his highlights...kid looks fast. Riley has been talking about recruiting a bunch of DBs, so we're probably looking at 4 total? I think if Isaac Stuart-Taylor comes on we are done at CB. He and Bookie would be an incredible tandem. Some of the WRs we are in on look like they could be good safeties as well. Someone like Shaq Anderson and even Goodrich.

Sounds like Roberts' younger brother is worthy of a scholarship, but I don't think it's a good sign that we don't have any other running backs on the lengthy visitors' list. Anyone want to take a wild guess who will be the next assistant coach casualty at the end of the 2017 season if he doesn't pick up his recruiting?

Our RBs coach should be worried. Riley has made it clear that he carries no dead weight. Either be a great coach or dynamic recruiter. If you are neither.....buh bye...

Goodrich is a much better Safety IMO. His vids playing that position are great.

We need a lot more than 1 Safety and 2 CB's. The fact we got one DB in this last class scares the living s*** out of me for Depth purposes in the future. I don't care how deep we are at a position.

The defensive backfield consists of 4-5 players at one time. Compare that to the Defensive Line (3-5) and the Offensive Line (5)

You tell me how you'd feel if we only landed one Offensive Lineman for the class... or one defensive lineman? You can't build holes like that for a position, you just can't!

We need at a minimum 4 DB's this year

I feel like we sign 20 (No way we only take16) this class

1 - QB
2 - RB
3 - WR
4 - DB
2 - LB
3 - DL
1 - TE
4 - OL

Fair point! So that means Goodrich could be recruited as as a DB/S, and we could snag another WR or two, then that would take care of that.
