@Nate Clouse @Sean Callahan. Sean you said at the beginning of bowl practices that there was a lot of "good on good" 1st teamers practicing against each other. Has it remained that physical all through the bowl prep? There has been a lot of debate lately (not just at Nebraska) that the avoiding contact method to prevent injuries in practice is causing teams, specifically the trenches, to play soft.
I hate comparing things to Iowa but during the game when the announcer referenced how Iowas practices are a bloodbath in the trenches, all I could think about was the possibility that our practices become less physical every year to try and prevent injuries. Please correct me if im wrong on that.
I personally was excited to hear about the competitive and physical practices to start bowl prep. I hope we keep that going next year in fall camp.
