QB/Receiver Performance

Tanner beat his total of 3 interceptions with 4. Some things we now know; one, Tanner will be back for his senior year as his performance to date would merit maybe a 7 round pick. Receivers had a hard time getting open and when they did Tanner consistently put the ball in the wrong place for them to catch and when he did, other for a few touchdown passes, many balls were dropped; even sure hands Hoppes laid an egg on the dead on pass that was a drive killer. Time after time when the receiver was open, Tanner consistently put the ball in the wrong place making it difficult for the receiver to protect the ball against the defense.

Hats off to the defense in the second half; not so much in the first half. So, what is Tristan Gebbia doing these days. He certainly could be more accurate than Tanner has the first two games.

Maybe after a couple more games, Tanner will regain his confidence and do what all were hoping would happen, Right now, BTN mentions at least 7 QB's ahead of him.

I truly hope I have to apologize about my words on Tanner in a few weeks but I am sure that Riley had much higher expectations. Oh, and he does not move well at all when caught in the backfield

Congrats to offense and defense in particular for not giving up; the 2nd half was a stellar performance if it wasn't for Tanners numerous opportunities only to either throw a interception or place it in the wrong position for our receivers, who had a hard time getting open most of the time.

This was a team loss all the way. A few breaks go their way and they could have pulled it out. But there was some glimmer of hope on both sides, now they have to start lessening the mistakes.

His play today does make you wonder if he has the it factor - If not then maybe Gebbia should be given a chance something tells me that kid does have it
