I can't stand all these negative posts I'm seeing this morning. If you don't see the progress and the bright future this staff will give us than you need to get your eyes checked. We are a year or two away from being for real back. The defense looking salty should silence the criticism one would think. We are in good hands with this program for the future. GBR!!

sunday morning after a loss. seen much worse.

I think most don't want to celebrate moral victories, but it still feels better than the morning after Melvin Gordon.

Agreed ... The coaching staff we have now has the game in a grasp of being able to counter the opposition at all times it seems. With the offensive players in place for his offense we will compete every year for the CCG and beyond I believe.

the two teams were equal in almost every facet

where we should of had a marked advantage that should have determined the game was our 4th year starting QB vs their freshman and backup ... sadly it was a stalemate (both teams QBs played like freshman) and we came up on the short end of a game that could have gone either way

No denying the team has made real progress. Losses happen. I'm glad we have a team we fans won't have to worry about getting curb stomped any more. These players and coaches won't allow it.

We need to run the ball better in games like this....when great defenses play..whomever can run the ball best wins...well what happened..who ran the ball the best?

Quit bagging on Tommy you guys act like his pockets are clean and he has all day to throw while missing receivers....when you are under pressure on 50% of your throws....you are not going to be a good passer......plus he is banged up.....we are having a good season because of him.

I like Shatel's and Chatelain's columns this morning. This loss was different than what we've seen in recent years. This was a loss that showed progress - not a loss that makes you wonder what in the h*ll is going on with the program.

Of course, there needs to be some payoff - NU needs to build on this. Whether that means beating OSU next week, or still making the CCG, winning the CCG, making the playoff, or even making the Rose Bowl while Michigan goes to the playoff...there needs to be something good that comes out of this.

I actually think their QB was under a great deal more pressure than TA was last night
no one is questioning TAs effort .. the bottom line is he is at best an average QB

you aren't going to beat very many quality teams when your QB goes 12/31 with 2 picks

Ronhusk is reveling in the loss. What a tiny little man. Even his hero harry boy called him out for it. Time for the fanbase to move forward together and stop with the hurt feelings crap.

What's the story behind this Ronhusk guy? I remember seeing him on the board back in the day. Was he just one of the BO-ners?

Exactly, Tommy legacy will be how we finish the rest of the season, he can break all the records he wants playing 4 years in this program some were along the line the 2016 team needs to beat tOSU or finish 10-2/ 10-3 and play in the B1G CG and make a Major Bowl game and win.

He used to be a mod here. He killed the basketball board years ago. Banned anyone he felt like for often no reason. Probably why he likes Bo so much. 2 kids with hurt feelings.

Their linebackers collapsed the pocket nearly every down, then backed up to obstruct the passing lanes. The problem with Tommy this game was not his ability to be accurate it was his ability to see through the lanes, it was frankly a brilliant defensive scheme against us. While I think he should have rolled out more Tommy can really blame genetics for this game on not being tall enough. It certainly didnt help that our OLine was still hobbled(held up fairly well considering the ankles).
