We have added a very good group so far with more to come here in January. We need to add 2-3 OT's to go along with the great interior linemen we have commits from. We could use some D Linemen yet. We will see LB's, Wr's, a TE, DB's and Athletes. You will see some quality walk ons also. The coaching staff already has a great start on 2017. Our skill position players are going to be very very good in the next few years. Nebraska is acquiring some talent that will work with this coaching staffs schemes to make us very athletic and tough to deal with. Nebraska will be much improved next year and very very good in two years.

Agreed. Athletes are great, but it's pretty obvious after watching some bowl games...it all starts in the trenches.

It is hard to do anything offensively when the DL is in your backfield every other play.

I hope the coaches can get some seriously good O and D linemen every year.
Coach Cav and Hughes need to get after it!!!

Agree that there are a lot of players to be excited about already in this class, but it's still a few tiers behind where we need to be. I'm not saying that we need to recruit like Florida or USC, but we need to be at least on par with teams like Michigan State. The Spartans' commitment list is quite a bit better than ours is at the moment.

As Twins said above, it all starts in the trenches. We've got some good OL coming in this class, but our DL class this year is going to be severely lacking unless we have some silent commit studs just waiting to announce that they are N. Gotta get better at getting athletes on the DL to go along with some of the other skill positions and OLinemen that the staff has proven they can recruit.

Correct we need the big linemen. We have some interior linemen but we need OT's. On the Defense we need depth in the front 7. With the possibility of losing Vincent and Kevin with also Collins going pro. It leaves us a little thinner on the interior DT and we are already thin at DE with impact players. Hopefully the redshirts can contribute to solve our concerns.
