Prediction for B1G MBB wins this season

The Huskers sit in 9th place in the conference with a 5-6 conference record and 13-11 overall. There are definitely winnable games left on the schedule.

I predict wins vs Penn State, Ohio State, and @Northwestern. Toss up games @Wisconsin and @Penn State. I just don't see this team overcoming the height of Purdue. They played a really good game in Lafayette and still couldn't stay within double digits.

If I had to bet, I'd say 8-10 with an outside chance at 9-9.

Either of these records will be enough for an NIT bid and maybe even a home game or two. NCAA tourney is not in the cards sans a deep conf tourney run.

I don't see us beating Purdue at home either.. 4 road games left and we need to win at least 2 of them which will be a tough task.

Wisky game will be interesting game a lot depends on Shields returning as quick as possible if at all.
