The Big Ten, along with ABC/ESPN, should be releasing the Big Ten Primetime games in the next week to 10 days. Here's my best bet:
Week 1:
LSU @ Wisconsin - ABC 7 PM game
Bowling Green @ Ohio State - 11 am - ESPN
Kent State @ Penn State - 11am - ESPN 2
Hawaii @ Michigan - 2:30 pm - ABC
Rutgers @ Washington - 3:00 PM - PAC 12 Network
Howard @ Maryland - 11 am BTN
EKU@ Purdue - 11 am BTN Alternate
WMU @ NW - 2:30 BTN alternate
Murray State @ Illinois - 7 PM BTN Alternate
Fresno State @ Nebraska 7 PM - BTN
Minnesota, Indiana, and Michigan State play on Thursday and Friday Nights Respectively.
Here's my rationale: LSU @ Wisconsin, live from Lambeau, is the top league game. Ohio State and Penn State always earn 12 Eastern Kickoffs on ESPN/2 to start the season vs. directional schools. Michigan, will be the tier 2 draw from the Big Ten and take up their 2:30 slot in the window. BTN will then have the tier 3 window and likely place Nebraska in their Primetime window.
Week 2:
Ball State @ Indiana - 11 Am BTN Alternate
Akron @ Wisconsin - 11 Am BTN
Central Florida @ Michigan - 11 AM ESPN
Cincinnatti @ Purdue 11 am ESPNU
Penn State @ Pitt - 11 AM ABC (ACC RIGHTS)
Iowa State @ Iowa - 2:30 ESPN
North Carolina @ Illinois - 11:00 AM ESPN 2
Howard @Rutgers - 11 AM BTN Alternate
Illinois State @ Northwestern - 2:30 BTN Alternate
Indiana State @ Minnesota - 2:30 BTN Alternate
Wyoming @ Nebraska - 2:30 BTN
Furman @ Michigan State - 2:30 BTN Alternate
Tulsa @ Ohio State - 7 PM BTN
YOu can potentially flip Michigan or Ohio State for this week. IMO, BTN is going to place one of them in their primetime slot because it will be the only time they can grab one of those teams for the year. The Huskers actually dodge the proverbial 11 am bullet here. The ACC could move Penn State @ Pitt to 3:30 EST. If that happens, I think ISU @ Iowa goes to 11 am on ESPN or ABC.
Maryland @ FIU- Friday night
Week 3:
Georgia State @ Wisconsin- BTN - 11 AM
Michigan STate @ Notre Dame - NBC- 7 pm
Ohio State @ Oklahoma - FOX - 7 pm
NW @ Duke- ESPN2 11 AM
North Dakota State @ Iowa- BTN 7 pm or 2:30 BTN
New Mexico @ Rutgers - BTN 11 am
Colorado @ Michigan - ABC or ESPN - 2:30
Western Michigan @ Illinois - 11 am BTN
Maryland @ Central Florida - CBS Sports Network
Temple @ Penn State ESPN 11 am
Oregon @ Nebraska - 7 pm ESPN
Other games that week:
Texas A&M @ Auburn - 2:30 ESPN 2
Miss State @ LSU - 6:45 ESPN 2
Bama @ Ole Miss- 3:00 PM CBS
Georgia @ TN - 7:00 PM - ABC
USC @ Stanford - 9:30 PM - ESPN 2
Texas @ Cal - FS1 3:00 PM
Florida State @ Louisville 2:30 ABC or ESPN
4 other BIG TEN teams have byes that week...
