Possible rim protector for 2017

He doesn't look 220. Having watched some UL basketball the past few years he's not someone who easily gets pushed around either. He would be a very good land for us.
Good. If he can't defend the 5, I can't imagine he's much different than what we have.

Please get this guy and Tsishmnanaga too assuming they can both chew gum and walk. I know we don't "need" these guys but we've seen what happens in matchups pitting our 6'6" forwards against 6'10" and up centers. They either dominate our front court or have wide open guards beyond the arc.

I can't believe some people are questioning bringing him in because he is listed at 6-10 220lbs. You don't think he is an Upgrade over what we have? He plays Center in the ACC and has started at Center since his Freshman year plus is a Captain on the team this year. He started at Center for a team that was projected to go deep in the NCAA tournament. His Freshman year he was 7th in the ACC in Blocked Shots. Last year he was 6th in the ACC in Blocked Shots. When was the last time we had a true Shot Blocker?

We would be very lucky to add him to our roster. Runs the floor well and can give us that vertical presence in the post. They have listed him at 6-10 220lbs since his Sophomore year. Maybe he weighs more now, maybe he doesn't. If you have watched any of his games you know he holds his own in the paint and would be the defensive presence we have been missing for years. Put him on our team this year and I think we are in the NCAA Tournament. Having a shot blocker in the middle really makes up for other defensive deficiencies a team might have.

I never once said we shouldn't look. I questioned his build, yes. I know zero about him, and wanted to know if he can defend a 5. The blocked shot stat you gave is intriguing.
