The B1G is not adding any school that is not an AAU member. The league's past expansion demonstrates this point.

Just want to re-establish Black Friday game. Ideally against OU, but would take Wisconsin. Replace the never-was Iowa team with someone that will matter, once we start mattering again.

Now that Nebraska has lost its AAU status the B1G Maybe they no longer care about AAU and more about the bottom line... $Money$.

CU has a very west coast culture, which is it's own thing. Pac 12 is where they need to be.

Yes sir, that's a real problem(s). But since we brought in programs like Maryland & Rutgers......it would seem like almost anybody would be qualified? Yes, they have lots of people. But lots of hard-core cfb fans? Maybe not to many.

Heck, I don't know. But again, it's sad that "schedule" is such a large variable on determining who wins their division. I guess NU just needs to return to kick-ass, take-names Devaney/TO status to overwhelm any schedule we get. It might happen!

The University of Nebraska receives more money in research dollars as a member of the Big Ten Academic Alliance than it collects from sports. You are correct, it is about $Money$. Money for research, students, faculty, their brains and work that will make our nation and the world a better place.

Expansion probably won't come soon, but when it does academics will be very important. The purpose of a Big Ten school's existence is not football or basketball.

Colorado would make a perfect fit save all but one, and it ranks fairly high in importance in the BIG10, and that is location.

If it isn’t OU and Texas no need to consider any further expansion. CU brings nothing to the table.

Colorado is an awful fit for this conference unless you like to ski or get high.

Kansas has been academically and culturally a better fit than either Oklahoma or Texas. Remember why you wanted to leave in the first place? KU is in a serious reboot of its football program to the tune of 315 million, has finally hired the right Coach and AD for Football, is not tied in any way to K-State, an AAU member since 1909, and means to bring some glory back to David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. KU brings the Kansas City Metro market (the distance now is about 10 miles from the KC Burbs) with plenty of grads in St Louis also. Oklahoma is now legally tied to Oklahoma State, has become more of a Southern state culturally than ever, seems eternally tied to Texas, and academically is not on par with either Mizzou or Iowa State, both would jump on a chance at entering the Big as a partner for KU. I still remember Our games with Nebraska as great contests. Nebraska has a history with KU that goes back to 1892. I realize the old NU-OU games are probably remembered fondly, but KU makes a better fit in almost every way. Add either Missouri who would still jump at a Big 10 slot or Iowa State and you complete an 8 team BIG West Division. Do you really want your lives run by Texas or to have OSU around your necks?
