assume 3 of those pitchers retired with injuries but never saw for sure..

Abrahamowicz - Bowling Green
Engelken - Kansas
Athey - Tallahassee Community College

• Abrahamowicz transferred to Bowling Green
• Engelken transferred to Kansas
• McSteen Retired but is still rehabbing with hopes of playing in a lower league (Saltdogs type of league) someday.
• Steinhoff retired with degree in hand.
• Jeff Athey transferred to Tallahassee Community College but still retweets Husker baseball stuff all the time. Probably saw the writing on the wall with this Freshman Class coming in.
• Luckey looks to have retired for now and no sign of if he will play elsewhere at some point.

thanks for replies....this is by all accounts so far a dynamite newcomer class! 7 really good frosh plus Feekin who i don't think has pitched yet, nor will, & Palensky & Schwartzenbach only sophs.....future looks pretty good!

My guess is Feekin is headed towards a redshirt and Schwellenbach is also a Freshman which is even better.

Talked to one of Zac Luckey's relatives over lunch today, he's at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

Not having a great season statistically and is currently recovering from a leg injury. But overall, he's happy.
