Oddly, one of the position coaching jobs that may still be open is WR job. I recognize how elite of a recruiter he is, but it’s tough to have carry-overs from old staff and culture. Time will tell. Parella seems to be done though.

There are almost always a couple carry overs.

That a for sure thing or where are you hearing that?? He’s the one position coach we really needed to keep.
I can't remember, is williams the one with the problem with driving while drunk? What was his position again? Did he work with impressionable young men or just with technical stuff? Not that the behavior of possible role models matters.

With the way our season went I am sure all of the coaches had a problem with drinking and drinking while driving. Williams was just the only one caught

i think you will see many transfer after Frosty comes in and puts them to work in the spring with a no nonsense approach, are they going to be in for a treat, bootcamp if you will, he will weed out the weak ones and bring in the strong ones, how much do you want it approach, the big dogs hunt and the little shitters get left behind, new culture, mark my words on this one, some of the big boys will go and some of the no names will become big names.

As for the rest, try to keep them. However, after their high-school twitter threats, screw you and see later. If you don't want to play here, get the hell out. I don't care who you think you are or what your potential is, bye bye. This includes you Stanley. I will call your business decision bluff and you can sign your free-agent contract. You can use your head and stay and get drafted in rounds 4-7. If not, try for the NFL this year. Guess what? You will not be drafted.

Talk about a crazy 24 hours for Frost. Full range of emotions. Must be exhausted. Now he gets to answer questions from our awesome NE media. Lol

Gotta love our loacal media sometimes... Sick at least they are pro-Nebraska football! Oh wait... negative columns drive business and 'clicks'.

Frost just got done meeting with the players minutes ago. It sounds like it went really well. As a team, it sounds like they are really excited to get to work. GBR!

They better be ready to get faster! :D

I can see it now... they will have worked harder this year vs the last year or two... only they will actually mean it this time! "I swear we mean it for real this time! We showed up to work out this time! We watched some of the walk-ons grunt loudly while lifting weights and sweating, and it fired us up so much that we might give it a shot right before the NFL combine!"

Several Nebraska football players gave a big thumbs up to their meeting with new Husker coach Scott Frost on Sunday morning.

"This is exactly what we need," running back Devine Ozigbo said. "And exactly what this state needs. It's going to be fun."

"It was refreshing," linebacker Mohamed Barry said. "We're just happy to finally have a coach at the helm and know which direction we're going."

Barry, Ozgibo and quarterback Patrick O'Brien said Frost talked about laying a foundation for the future and accountability.

"Love for the game, love for the sport, love for your team," Barry said. "That's basically it. We have to bring that back to have the program at the level where it was."

NU Athletic Director Bill Moos introduced Frost to the players, providing players with Frost's accomplishments and credentials.

O'Brien said Frost was "quietly confident." O'Brien said his skill set fits the offense Frost is bringing to Nebraska.

Wide receiver Stanley Morgan called the meeting "cool." He watched Central Florida's 62-55 win over Memphis in the American Athletic Championship game and liked the offense.

"It was pretty cool, it was pretty nice," said Morgan, who just set the school's single-season record for receiving yards. "I liked the passion he had with his players, the love he had."

Morgan, who has one year left of eligibility, tweeted last week that he had a decision to make regarding his future. He said the decision wasn't necessarily related to leaving for the NFL.

"Not like you think I am," Morgan said.
