So at least we should beat Illinois this year.

To Illinois' credit the Illini did win at Minnesota and that ungodly OT game at Penn State in 2021, in addition to the opening B1G win at home against Nebraska. They did win with Lovie in 2020, as well. The 2019 game was also back and forth.

Scott Frost will likely have a competitive game again vs. the Illini.
