Interesting tidbit:
Pro Football Focus released their rankings putting Adrian Martinez at 129 out of 130 QBs. Yes, second worst QB in all of FBS.
Part of their justification is the following:

When in a clean pocket, which is one of the most stable metrics for a quarterback, Martinez produced a 55.3 passing grade, ranking 123rd of 130 FBS quarterbacks. His big-time throw rate was 130th among the same group.”

Hail Varsity’s Derek Petersen responded well as to why the rankings seem a bit flawed, and I would agree with his response.

But damn- 129 out of 130?

I’ve been a harsh critic myself, but also remain optimistic about his potential.
I know the topic gets repeated over and over, but so do plenty of others. I thought this was interesting new info.

At least he wasn’t 130.
Reminds me of "Clerks."

VERONICA: You had to tell him.
DANTE: I had to tell someone. He put it into perspective.
VERONICA: What did he say?
DANTE: At least he wasn't thirty-six.

This was after Veronica told Dante she's blown 37 guys.

"In a row?" Still one of my favorite movie lines of all time.

I think his ranking will go up by the time he gets to play again. Think of all the athletic departments that will fold. He will probably crack the top 100
