Hope that move to tank so you could go from #9 to #6 was worth it. What a moron, no way he could come back after that IMO.

I think the final game WAS the final nail in the coffin....The final game vs. the WFT had nothing to do with it. This move was brewing for a while.

Could Frost be like Saban, be a big boy, and hire Pederson to be Nebraska's OC?
Pederson nearly quit last year when he and the front office didn't agree on staff moves. It's been a longstanding issue where Doug wanted to promote his guys from within, while the front office saw the need to bring in new people. The writing has been on the wall for quite some time. Many refused to see it...blinded by the 2017 Super Bowl. It's a tough business, and Philly's front office doesn't mess around.Disagree 1000%. Ain't sayin the thought never entered Lurie's mind before the final game but that game was the last straw. Pederson shot himself in the foot with that silly decision then doubling down by lying about it.
Regardless of whether or not they "mess around" . They're screwed. Pederson is a very good coach. Philly's biggest problems going forward are the contract that brilliant front office gave Wentz and the crappy O line they've assembled.Pederson nearly quit last year when he and the front office didn't agree on staff moves. Nah. Their O line is better than you think. Just need to stay healthy. Doug went vanilla. Soft serve.Regardless of whether or not they "mess around" . They're screwed. Pederson is a very good coach.
