No surprise as Sark was one of them. Having been to the Steve Sarkesian School of Coaching doesn’t quite have the same ring to it though. Chryst certainly ain’t giving his resume any lift with that bullet pointTexas trying to do the Nick Saban approach in hiring fired ex head coaches to be staff personnel. I am surprised though that Chryst wasn't able to find another head coaching gig that he was happy with.
Where did their former DC and interim HC end up? Leonard?Next to us of course, then Colorado...Wisky is in the top 3 storylines for me next season. Really weird wht they did and who they did it with. I think Luke is a good coach, but that is not a direction I would have taken if I were their AD.
No doubt he had a buyout but the key are the terms/conditions of that buyout. It could have been a lump sum. It could be paid out in installments over some time period with some restrictions on the type of new job he could take and continue to get the installments. Each buyout contract can be different.I’m sure he’s still on the buyout from Wiscy - may look at as a way of sticking it to them while waiting for the right opportunity?
