At least it sure has that feel to it. Only it is with a 62 year-old coach. With poor game management. I have been trying to talk myself into getting on board with this hire. I honestly just can't see a light at the end of the tunnel with this staff. And I mean staff......
Here is the deal. IF Mike Riley's biggest Achilles Heal was that he was coaching at Oregon State and did not have the resources he would at Nebraska, would you not go out and get the BEST resources (assistant coaches) available, upon getting hired at NU? Sorry......I have to "sell" on the Riley hire. I know it is his first season here, but.....as I said, he is a 62 year-old coach that has shown that the team looks just as unprepared at times as they did under Bo Bo. It is going to be a LONG couple of years. We have no other option. We are stuck with this hire.
