His message: you gotta have good lines but great skill position players are required to compete for B1G championships. Iowa & Wisky have accomplished being good at the line of scrimmage but lack skill players.
My view: we are making progress on getting there. The door is open for the Red and Riley is taking the steps to run through it. I believe Sammy agrees with that.
I'll say it again: Sammy is the most perceptive college football writer on the planet.
Glad he is an NU alum and hope he stays here and continues to focus on Husker football. I'll keep reading.
