Paging Tru Husker

Want to pass some info on to you
Hush Hush Shadow GIF by Ovation TV

Been a little tied up. Dad went into hospital and now hospice.
Prayers to your family. Went through that five years ago. Not the hospital part. Went from his house to hospice. When the Squad took him out, he was giving them a bunch of shit. Young kids that we had to help guide them. Felt weird taking him, he was so mentally sharp, but not in great condition otherwise.

Sorry to hear that and I understand. Just wanted to let you know my wife's dad, Mr.M, died Saturday morning
Can you give me more hints? Town? How did i know him? My brain is in a fog, not to mention I am getting old.

My prayers to both @huskerfan66 and @TruHusker. As I get older and with both of my parents still with us, I feel like the last 3 or 4 participants in the cake walk or musical chairs.......just waiting for there to be no cake/ chair for me.

Godspeed !!
Thanks Tuco. He is hanging on, a month away from 93. 26 year military career. Is is strange that people ask about his friends - well he outlived all of them. Between my wife of almost 50 years (this month) we will have no parents left on this earth. I am the oldest in my family so it is weird feeling knowing I am next in line.

I'll never forget Goodland. Always appreciated going out there on Saturday night. Always planned on going to the late show at the theater but for some reason never made it.....but made it to Immanuel for church the next morning before heading home after dinner. Will never forget the good times at the Sherman tank and crazy r s. Good times and good friends in Goodland.

Not much going on there these days. We were supposed to be back for their fair this week but for obvious reasons we didn't make it. We still have lots of friends there and are helping one couple with several house projects as he battles Alzheimer's. I had to do a double take on the Sherman Tank, that was many moons ago. Pretty quiet dusty ole town these days.

I'm trying to decipher this. Where did you live at the time you went to Goodland on Saturday night? I'm guessing you're a Lutheran? Crazy R's closes at 8pm. Can't be that crazy. :p Where is this Sherman tank? I'm on Google Maps checking out Goodland.

The tank closed down years ago. It was on the south side. Bands played there. Crazy Rs was a nice place to eat.
