Now on the clock: ACC. This just took some options off the board for the ACC when their 4 schools leave. What a flippin' nightmare this has become, as expected.

as a fan of the Mountain West, I would not be thrilled to see that league gutted.

I figured calling them the PAC-West would make sense combining the two names... PAC 12 + Mountain West = PAC West.... that would make too much sense though, so that ain't happenin🤣

What a sad sad conference this has become. B1G took the prime cuts. Then, the B12 scavenged the rest. What's left are schools that nobody wants. Hey! Let's add UNT!
That conference DOES look entertaining and fun to me. Not that I would want NU to be a part of it, though. I'll settle for watching from a distance.

We need 4 conferences, each with 20 teams. Winners of each conference play for the national championship in a 4 team playoff.

I agree. The old WAC and the current Mountain West were fun conferences. Good thing they decided to blow that up so that they could integrate eastern schools like Tulane and Florida Atlantic into the mix.
Peacock has premier league soccer and a few decent shows to watch. Just find a buddy and split some of the streaming apps so you aren't getting bent over all the time
Mountain West football was a solid league back in the day. Haven't given them must thought since Utah left but used to like watching.

Yeah I would have rather seen the Mountain West add North Dakota State, Montana, and Montana State.
What I've read is that the two divisions would play every year with only 2 cross divisional games so the travel is over exaggerated.

Or .......have a clue. As I posted, most athletes have online classes, or at a minimum are placed with instructors that will cater to their needs when they travel.
As I have mentioned on here several times, I have had two kids that played D1 sports where they played mid week games.
The number of support personnel sent with the team, from tutors to test proxies is unreal. These kids could literally travel from November to April, not spend 1 single day in a traditional classroom, or even a single day on campus and still get all of the educational benefit of a kid that was physically in the class every day.
