the winds of change are picking up speed.

with opening day just under 2 weeks away, expect to see more headlines like these from B1G/PAC12 while the other P5 conferences dominate the national spotlight.
 
I've long felt the P12 should form some sort of alliance with the B12. Absorb the Longhorn Network into a joint platform. Schedule games. Broaden the footprint.

Presently, that conference is so deep in doodoo that I'm not sure how they find their way out. When Stanford, of all schools, cuts 11 sports, we know the problems are foundational.

These 11 programs consist of more than 240 incredible student-athletes and 22 dedicated coaches. They were built by more than 4,000 alumni whose contributions led to 20 national championships, 27 Olympic medals, and an untold number of academic and professional achievements. Stanford
 
So is there any news in the PAC about anybody protesting the season cancellation? Does anybody out there care enough to protest? Any fans? Any players? Any coaches? Anybody file any lawsuits? You'd think at least some of those highly regarded USC law graduates would say something.
