God I love when the stupid contracts backfire on the "big spending teams"

The Giants organization was the right cultural home for Pablo to be successful. They spent a lot of energy helping him keep his weight off.

He has no chance of coming back to SF with Matt Duffy here

Looks like Pablo took a liking to clam chowder since joining the Red Sox.

I doubt if Dombrowski gives a deuce about the money. The Sox are one of those "endless resources" teams and they need to win. And I doubt if Farrell has a long leash at this point. I just have a hard time believing they're better off with Shaw and Brock Holt getting major ab's. It's kind of a no win for the Sox, if they actually find someone to trade with there's a decent chance Panda plays well enough to make them look stupid all over again. What's with the hate for fat baseball players? It always make me feel good to see a successful pro athlete with a bigger gut than mine.

Oh I don't care THAT he makes that much. I am laughing at the team paying that out. Yet another reason to have your kids play baseball. Not that I think my kid is going to be a pro.... but when an average 3rd baseman in the league makes more than Suh in football, why put your body through football if you have the skills to play baseball?

Its not hard to bat higher than 245 and exceed 47 rbis. Shaw got at bats last year and was productive and has outworked and performed Sandoval this spring. He deserves the spot and its good to see the new GM and the coaching staff isn't afraid to sit a guy they over paid to get the better player time.
