I'm certain that it is.
There are some excuses that are valid about why it's hard to compete nationally from the Big Ten and injuries...but missing the Big Ten tournament is not something you can excuse.
Well, I guess that's what you have to say when you're stuck with someone that you can't fire.
Certainly, it isn't easy which is partly why it takes a 'Scott Frost' level of dedication.
Oddly enough, to me it is also easier in some ways. Minnesota for example could host a regional if they do well to finish out the season and in no way shape or form are they one of the top 16 teams in the nation. They will have a great RPI and being a northern team actually helps their cause.
Indiana was another example until they went on that streak of crap for about 10 games.
It should be illegal to make someone pay to read an article written by a guy named Evan Bland.
Unfortunately we are stuck with Erstad until he retires or resigns. Missing the crappy B1G tourney is just embarrassing.
I'm still holding out hopes the majors come calling again. He would be a much better fit at that level where he doesn't have to recruit and the talent is nearly developed by the time he gets a hold of them. It would be fun to see a Angels team full of grinders.
