Need to stain a new cedar fence and having a hard time figuring out what stain is good. Seems reviews are all over the place which is probably a combination of prep work and some stains just flat out not being that good. Also when did all the stains switch to acrylic hybrids. Do these penetrate as well as oil stains. Any personal experience with brands would be greatly appreciated.
